'69 SPORT FURY CONVERTIBLE
HERE'S A CHANCE TO OWN A RARE, LIMITED PRODUCTION MOPAR DROPTOP JUST IN TIME FOR SUMMER CRUISING SEASON. A MERE 1,332 1969 PLYMOUTH SPORT FURY CONVERTIBLES WERE BUILT FOR SALE IN THE U.S. AS A COMPARISON, THREE TIMES AS MANY FURY III CONVERTIBLES WERE MANUFACTURED THAT YEAR. 1969 WAS THE LAST YEAR FOR THE SPORT FURY CONVERTIBLE, AND ALSO THE LOWEST PRODUCTION RUN OF ANY YEAR FOR THIS MODEL. THE FURY WAS COMPLETELY REDESIGNED FOR 1969, AND MANY MOPAR COLLECTORS VALUE THIS BODY STYLE AS THE MOST POPULAR. MAKING THIS ONE RARER YET IS THAT IT ROLLED OFF THE LINE WITH A BIG BLOCK, NOT THE STANDARD 318. THIS BEAUTY FEATURES NEW PAINT, NEW CONVERTIBLE POWER TOP, NEW LEGENDARY BUCKET INTERIOR, REBUILT BIG BLOCK ENGINE, AND A FACTORY AM/8 TRACK. AS ALWAYS, WE OFFER THIS CLASSIC TO YOU BELOW MARKET VALUE. EVEN IF YOU COULD FIND ANOTHER ONE, IT WOULDN'T BE AS FAIRLY PRICED AS THIS. EXTERIOR: Straight steel body. Fender turn signal indicators. Does not have wheelhouse moldings on rear because it originally came with skirts. Fit on all panels is very good. ENGINE AND DRIVE TRAIN- Originally came from the factory with the 383-335 horsepower "HP" engine. Under the hood now is a rebuilt 440 Cu. In. "H" Series engine. You can cruise all day long at 190*, but the 440 still has enough power to smoke the tires if you desire. Holley four barrel carb. Heads, exhaust manifolds, distributor, ignition, etc are all stock Mopar. Power steering and power brakes. New exhaust with Flowtech Glass Packs by Hooker. Torque Flite automatic transmission. Fresh complete service on vehicle. New brakes. Runs and drives well. INTERIOR- All new Legendary black bucket seat interior. Seat covers and padding, carpet, door panels, weatherstripping all new. Trunk floor is solid- however, two patch panels were installed. If you intend on showing the car, you might want to invest in a trunk pan and trunk mat. For cruising or local shows, you don't need to do anything. The trunk area is freshly sprayed and the mat covers the small patch panels. As stated previously, this is an opportunity to own a clean, extremely rare, droptop cruiser. This is not a Mopar Nationals Show Car- it is a clean, solid, rebuilt, good looking driver. Try to find another one of this model. Don't hesitate if you are looking for a vehicle like this. We price all of our classics Below Market Value, and they sell quickly.
