Awesome '55 Chevy Right Out of American Graffiti
CRUISE BACK IN TIME! If Falfa would have had this car in American Graffiti, Milner would have lost! This blast from the past is a 1955 Chevy Two-Ten Club Coupe. This restoration replicates the nostalgia days of the Sixties. All you Baby Boomers will remember this look. EXTERIOR- This shoebox is Pearl White with Irridescent Emerald Green and Champagne Metalflake. Body is all steel with very little filler. Paint quality good. All the glass is original except the windshield and is all in good shape. All the chrome and stainless is good. The rear bumper has been rechromed. Check out the bumperless rolled front end! The car rests on Fidelity 4 ply polyester whitewall tires. Rubber is mounted on American Racing Smoothie Chrome Wheels with Baby Moon hubcaps. DRIVETRAIN-Engine is a fresh 1969 327 cu.in. motor bored .030 over. An Edelbrock Competition 4 barrel sits atop an original Offenhauser aluminum intake. 485 lift hydraulic comp cam by Ed Iskenderian. Mallory Unilite ignition-electric fuel pump-forged steel crank-11:1 Speed Pro pistons-fuely heads-headers. The transmission is an M21 which was rebuilt 9/99. Indy Shifter changes the gears. INTERIOR-Green and white seat covers and door panels have all been redone. Weatherstripping is new. All new windlacing still in box. Stock unmolested dash. All original guages including factory AM radio. Steering wheel excellent. Under the dash are full Stewart Warner guages and an Airguide 6000 RPM tach. MISC-Brakes all done-undercarriage is clean and black-trunk is solid as a rock with no patches. Please view the pictures below- this car is not an ISCA show car, but it is a clean, nice driving,unique designed restoration. It would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.
