    1996 Ford Mustang Cobra SVT Let me begin by stating THIS IS NOT A COBRA WITH A KIT. THIS IS A REAL COBRA SVT THAT WAS SENT TO KENNY BROWN PERFORMANCE FOR THE CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION WORK. IT WAS ALSO SENT TO SEAN HIGHLAND MOTORSPORT FOR THE ENGINE. WE HAVE THE ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER AND SVT CERTIFICATE, THE ENGINE BUILD SHEET AND DYNO SHEETS FROM SEAN HIGHLAND MOTORSPORT, AND THE BUILD SPECIFICATION SHEET FROM KENNY BROWN PERFORMANCE. THE PICTURE SHOWS THE CURRENT OWNER DRIVING, WITH KENNY BROWN IN THE PASSENGER SEAT AS THE TESTING ENGINEER. THIS FACT IS DOCUMENTED ON THE BUILD SPECIFICATION SHEET. THIS WAS TAKEN AT PUTNAM PARK IN INDIANA. IN ADDITION TO ALL DOCUMENTS, THERE IS A FOLDER OF RECEIPTS. OVER $60,000 WAS INVESTED IN THIS CAR. WE WANT TO SELL THIS CAR.     Kenny Brown Performance, aka Project Industries, is currently recognized as one of the leaders in Cobra performance. Kenny has been involved in racing for 30 years. His facility is located in Gasoline Alley at Indy. Visit his website for updates on his projects. Originally acknowledged for his success with the Saleen Mustang, he has now become the most well known manufacturer and installer of upgrades in the Ford and Mustang Performance aftermarket. Sean Hyland Motorsport, located in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada, is now viewed as the number one builder of the 4.6 engine. Not only is Sean a racer himself, but he has built engines for every form of motorsports. Check out his website for his latest projects. I don't know about you, but if I wanted the ultimate Cobra SVT, I couldn't think of a more professional way to do it.

    Before we continue, and just to hold your attention, let me tell you quickly that I'm holding in my hand a receipt for $4,315.97. THIS IS FOR THE BRAKES! If you wanted the best, where would you shop? BAER RACING. That's correct, this monster machine has Baer Racing Pro+ Baer Claw brakes and bump steer kit. The receipts, as well as a manual and bleeding technique instruction sheet, are included.

    I should add that this car has actually had two upgrades. Originally modified to C-4 standards, it was determined that the chassis would not properly handle the 500+ rear wheel HP, so Kenny Brown Performance remodified the car to C-5 specs.

    Now let's get to the facts. This is a 1996 Mustang Cobra SVT. The vehicle was originally sold at Fair Oaks Ford in Naperville, IL. From the factory, the only option was the Preferred Equipment Package, which included the CD player with Mach 460 sound system, Anti-theft system, and Leather interior. The Ford Special Vehicle Team(SVT) certifies that this is number 3,505 of a build run of 7,496. Certificate included in pics. There are 14,490 original miles on the car. Laser Red Metallic with Black interior. The fit and finish on the vehicle is exactly what you would expect for a 14,000 mile car-excellent. This vehicle is adult owned, not thrashed and abused.

    The chassis was done at Kenny Brown Performance- Tony Kenter was the Assembly Technician and Kenny Brown was the Team Engineer. Build specification summary and recommended maintenance spec sheets included. Upgraded to C-5S Suspension Package. Welded subframes, heavy duty upper and lower rear control arms, front offset caster/camber adjusters, Koni Sport Shocks, Eibach Springs, all urethane bushings. again, you can visit his website for more information on these conversions.

    New High Performance, Blueprinted, Vortec Supercharged 4.6 Liter Engine. T56 six speed transmission from Sean Hyland Motorsport. Billet 31 spline axles. Thorsen Differential with 4.10 ring and pinion. Center Force Dual Friction clutch. Billet shifter. Ported and polished Stage I heads, Wiseco forged pistons, Manley 4340 rods, oversized injectors, SVO Headers, 2 1/2" exhaust with H pipe, Dynomax Mufflers. On Dynojet 248H Chassis Dynamometer, 508.7 HP and 440.9 Ft/Lbs of torque. Dyno sheets and engine build sheet included.

    Other upgrades include Recarro leather seats with racing harness, post mounted Autometer Guages, roll cage with chrome side bars, Halon Fire System, Fuel Safe fuel cell, Speedline Magnesium Wheels, Michelin Pilot SX tires, complete trunk lid toolbox.
